Mansonville’s round barn, located in the heart of the village, is a jewel of our heritage. It piques the curiosity of visitors because there are only seven left in the Eastern Townships, all built between 1901 and 1915. The Township of Potton has experienced three other barns round, now extinct. Like all old abandoned buildings, it has suffered the passage of time and requires major repairs. Since the summer of 2017, it remains temporarily closed for security reasons. However, on the outside, Round Barn Square comes alive from late May to October with the Mansonville Public Market held every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm.
